Tour a la carte.

This tour is about you and your dreamed vacation. It includes the best and most visited places in the west of Cuba. You can feel free after you consider my proposal to add, suggest or change anything of your choice. You would be provided transportation, a professional driver and a professional English speaking tour guide. You would be covering lots of places in the west of Cuba and you would be taken to places of your interest and at your request. Accomodations would be in Casas Particulares or Airbnbs.
Prices would cover transportation and guiding fees plus your accommodations. Breakfast would be included, you would only have to pay extra for your meals, extra excursions and entrance fees to Museums or parks.
Itinerarys are very flexible and activities can be modified as you go and on the spot. It is an 100% private tour so tailoring is the word of order.
Here is a possible itinerary for a week round trip:
1st Day:
Arrival and airport transfer to your accommodations.
Havana walking tour in the afternoon- Trace history through its people and buildings, efforts to preserve Old Havana; the four most beautiful squares of Old Havana(Saint Francis of Assisi square, Old Square, Main Square and Cathedral Square) and also Calle Obispo. Go up to Hotel Ambos Mundos to have a mojito.
Back to your casa for a shower.
Dinner at Habana 61 at 7:00 pm.
At 9:00 pm visit to the Cannon Shot Ceremony at Havana´s largest Spanish Fortress
An excellent choice for the rest of the night would be going to Fabrica de Arte, one of the most authentic and port-modern galleries in Havana and excellent place to see and appreciate what it´s really different and avant-garde in Cuban art(open from thursday to sundays).

2nd Day:
Driving by the sea wall on the way to the Revolution Square then Cigar Factory tour. Walking tour around the National Capitol, the Central Park and former Presidential Palace nowadays Museum of the Revolution. Visit to the world famous ¨El Floridita¨ bar (where Ernest Hemingway used to drink his favorite drink ¨Daiquiri¨) Stop for lunch. Tour of the rum museum in the afternoon (time permit).
Back to your accommodations for a shower.
Dinner at 7:30 pm at O´Reilly 304.
At 9:30 party time with the Buena Vista Social Club Show at Rosalía de Castro.

3rd Day:
Visit to the forts (El Morro) in the morning, drive by the exhibit of the missile crisis and continue to The Christ to have the most spectacular view of the Bay of Havana. Continue to Hemingway’s farm ¨La Vigía¨. Lunch time.
In the afternoon visit to the Museum of fine Arts and to Colón Cemetery (Largest cemetery of Latin America and outdoor sculpture museum).
Back to your accommodations for a shower:
Dinner at 8:00 pm at Vista Mar, one of the best restaurants in Havana, a perfect place for romantic night or just an amazing meal .
After dinner visit the National Hotel and its Hall of Fame (Mafia´s house in the 50´s). Relax in the patio having a drink and enjoying the view.

4th Day:
Day tour of Viñaes (drive for about two hours), the land of the world finest cigars and place of one of the most spectacular Cuban sceneries. Stop at the lookout point at Los Jazmines to have the most beautiful view of Viñales Valleys, World Natural Heritage and a unique place in Cuba with amazing landscapes. Visit a tobacco farm where you would learn the process of Cigar making from the farmer himself. Visit the Indian Cave where you take the boat that goes through the cave. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive back to Havana.
Reservation at Sinco Sentidos for dinner at 8:00 pm. Stay overnight Havana

5th Day:
Departure to Trinidad via Bay of Pigs. Visit to ¨La Finquita Fiesta Campesina¨. Visit to the crocodile breeding farm ¨Boca de Guamá¨. Snorkeling at the Fish Cave and the Caribbean sea. Lunch at a local restaurant. Keep driving to Trinidad via Cienfuegos (Drive for 1.30 hours to Cienfuegos and another 1.30 hours from Cienfuegos to Trinidad) Drive around Cienfuegos to later on continue to Trinidad, declared World Heritage by Unesco and one of the first villas founded in Cuba. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Trinidad.

6th Day:
Excursion to Topes de Collantes (with a local guide and a 4x4 wheel vehicle) up to 800 meters over sea level in the heart of Trinidad mountain ridge, one of the most amazing places in the south of Cuba. Waterfalls, natural pools and breathtaking views are the reason why thousands of visitors go there every year. Walk and enjoy Trinidad city for the rest of the afternoon.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Walk and enjoy the night life of the city around Plaza Mayor and Trova House. Overnight Trinidad.

7th Day:
Departure to Matanzas via Santa Clara, visit Che Guevara´s Memorial. Continue to Jagüey Grande. Stop at my parents´s home for a coffee and a chat with authentic Cuban family. This is the real people-to-people experience. You would get to see how a typical family lives in Cuba and an authentic life story. Continue to Matanzas city. Visit to Bellamar caves, Cuba´s oldest tourist centre and ¨Triolet Drugstore¨, one of the oldest and best kept French drugstore in the whole world (time permit). Drive to Habana city. Stay overnight Havana.

8th Day-Day to cover places of interest and doing activities of your choice and transfer back to the airport.

So the nights would look like this:
- 4 Nights in Havana
- 2 Nights in Trinidad
- 1 Last night in Havana.
